Nobody
I said I loved you,
I doubt you were listening,
Nobody loves me.
When did I become,
A heartless soulless lost man,
Who just needs a girl?
You woke my secret,
A passion unmatched and pure,
Then threw it away.
Nobody has claimed,
My poor form or soul since then,
But then why would they?
Beauty is in the eyes,
Of the beholder they say,
Mine is kept inside.
A fire burns all day,
All night in my worthless cage,
Burning my sad skin.
Personality,
People say is more precious,
Than physical things.
Those people all lie,
My caring manner and self,
Getting me nowhere.
I’m a nobody,
A man nobody desires,
Or just wants to love.
