A poem: 'Cherry Blossom'
Well this is the first poem I'm uploading to this blog! How exciting! It's a rare thing for me to write a 'sweet' item, so save it for the collection!
Cherry Blossom
Would you let me taste your strawberry lips?
Cherry blossom falling all around,
Wicker basket left to the side,
A pretty pattern on your floral dress,
Your soft skin tender to touch,
A delicacy like no other.
Your face radiant in the daylight,
Eyes sparkling sweetly into mine,
Hair floating softly in the wind,
A hand brushing through it,
As lips collide locked in embrace,
Love shared in the purest way.
We’d lie in the sun entwined,
Fluffy clouds dancing in a sea of blue,
Trees swaying softly in the breeze,
Cradling you lightly until the stars twinkled,
Offering you my jumper for warmth,
And keeping the darkness away.
