See that thing above? That's me unfortunately! Hello and welcome to my blog, David's Inkpot, where I'll be posting poems most of the time with the odd short prose and analytical piece, maybe even some thoughts on issues if you're into that sort of thing too!
Well where to begin? As the t-shirt says, I'm quite shy, well, until you get to know me, then I'll probably never leave you alone. I enjoy music such as Frank Turner, Muse and Bruce Springsteen and football (I support Tottenham) so I may post the occasional item on those!
So yes if you have made it this far, give yourself a round of applause! I'm 21 years old, I did a degree in Creative Writing and have no money. I enjoy simple things like walking in the park, sitting with friends watching films and spend time alone composing poems, usually from experience or just my feelings and ideals. I never set out with a set plan to write one, I just begin with a line and see where it takes me!

This shows how long it has been since I uploaded this! I am now 24, finished my degree, in a 9-5 office job. Have a more recent picture! I hope you enjoy reading some of my poetry :)
