A poem: Waiting

Woo a poem!

Waiting

The skin I live in is the best I could have,
So I’ve got to make the most of what I’ve got,
One day it’ll attract a mighty fine lady,
And she’ll love it a hell of a lot more than me.

In return a soft kiss and play fights galore,
And nights of frolics and fun,
Days of relaxing and watching movies,
And loving each other too much.

Take my hand and skip with me,
Through fields of green and yellow,
And collapse atop a flowerbed,
Your head resting on my chest.

I can offer you this average looking man,
With a diamond heart and soul,
Who’ll keep you safe and smiling,
Right ‘til the very end.

So baby take your time and find me,
I’m waiting for you at my door,
I’ll open it to my whole new life,
My magic inducing girl.
